actually i was on target. have

short commentary on that to the

prognosis on when
the 1000 level will be breached.

your prognosis ..a week
off..anyway i am not that
anxious to look deeply into
the share performances..money
not that scarce..but people are
overcautious of cost of living, and shrinking
disposable income, the economic
context of it is now a bit dry not enough
to push good debate, people are
indifference to economic arguments, i believe
there is a declining knowledge
of practical economics among experts today,
no one wants to know much,
nothing to worry about let government deal with
economics.. economics nowadays,
is defunct.

Fellow Forumers &
Others....
Just read
Bizweek's story on
'Crossing the magic
mark' over teh tarik...
funny thing I didn't
realise the KLCI
has breached the 1,000
level, albeit briefly
during yesterday's
trade. Incidentally I
did enter the market
yesterday purely on my
reading on the
market.... its pretty
rosy for now.
Incidentally I did made
a brief forecast over
the '1,000 mark'
sometime in early Sept
2006, as follows:

Guys,
The elusive 1,000 mark?
Let me put on my crystal
ball for a sec! Oops not
so soon, but watch out
for as 'early' as 30 Oct
2006, most likely by the
17 Nov 2006, or latest
23 Jan 2007 - that's
purely my prognosis from
my charts.... believe it
or not, just be on the
alert.
That's my FOC advice.

A Rejoinder:
In fact I have made a
somewhat 'pinpoint
forecast' there... I
have said that the
earliest KLCI may touch
1,000 is by 30 Oct
2006... it seems I have
missed by a few days
there. But on a second
look I have made (then)
a small mistake in
counting the days... I
forgot about the
DeepaRaya holidays [you
see American charting
softwares doesn't take
care of Malaysian
holidays].
Add that on for say 3/4
days then presto
the 1,000 level as
forecasted was indeed on
2/3 Nov 2006. Well Nik,
I'm a bit of a Nostradamus now,
I guess. If not, at
least a "Ayah Pin'-lah!
What happens after this
'first attempt' at
penetration (over 1,000)
is another matter. All
the best guys in
dabbling on the KLSE,
for now. Thanks.
